Ms Lina TAN is director of marketing with a broad and in-depth experience of the corporate world. She has close to 20 years of strategic planning, marketing management and marketing communications experience, and can boast of insider knowledge of the different marketing and PR needs of businesses in various industries.

Lina started her career as a programmer analyst with the National Computer Board of Singapore and was trained in programming languages, system analysis and system design. Her versatility enabled her to switch and pursue a career in consumer marketing with Levi Strauss (S) Pte Ltd where she covered brand & promotional campaigns, market surveys and competitive studies. Lina gained South East Asia regional marketing experience at Whatman Far East Pte Ltd, a specialist in scientific laboratory supplies. She was involved in market surveys, and organizing technical seminars, dealers’ conferences and exhibitions such as InstrumentAsia and ChemAsia.

Lina joined DHL (S) Pte Ltd in 1989. She was promoted several times, moving from Marketing Services Manager for DHL Singapore to Regional Marketing Planning Manager with DHL Far East Regional Office (based in Hong Kong) and to Marketing Manager for DHL IndoChina & South Asia. Lina then joined MasterCard International as Director of Advertising and Promotions. She was responsible for the promotion of the MasterCard brand and marketing activities in the Asia Pacific region (mainly Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore). Lina was also with Cycle and Carriage as its Divisional Manager (Marketing) where she played a key role in all the marketing and PR activities for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, commercial vehicles and aftersales services.


Since then, Lina has worked with many small and medium sized companies on various branding and marketing projects. She has helped the companies to be more professional, organized and effective in achieving their goals and vision.


In addition to having a Bachelor degree, Lina also holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management.
